The Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM Lens (Model: SEL85F14GM) is a premium telephoto prime lens from Sony's highly acclaimed G Master (GM) series, built for professional photographers and videographers seeking ultimate image quality, speed, and reliability. Designed for full-frame Sony E-mount cameras, this lens excels in portrait photography, studio setups, and low-light environments, thanks to its ultra-wide f/1.4 aperture and advanced optical engineering.
This 85mm lens features an XA (extreme aspherical) element, ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass, and a Nano AR coating to reduce chromatic aberrations, minimize flare, and deliver edge-to-edge sharpness with natural-looking bokeh. The 11-blade circular diaphragm ensures soft, creamy background blur, while the fast and precise autofocus system powered by a ring drive SSM (Super Sonic Wave Motor) ensures accurate subject tracking. It also includes a dedicated aperture ring with a de-click option, making it ideal for video creators who need seamless exposure transitions.
Constructed with professional durability in mind, the lens is also dust and moisture-resistant, making it suitable for demanding shooting conditions indoors or outdoors.
