The Janome DM7200 is a fully computerised sewing machine designed for garment construction, alterations, decorative stitching and everyday sewing. It features 200 built-in stitches, one alphabet font for monogramming and 14 one-step buttonholes. Direct stitch selection keys provide convenient access to frequently used stitches, while the backlit LCD screen displays the selected stitch, recommended presser foot and adjustable stitch settings.
With a maximum sewing speed of 820 stitches per minute, the DM7200 offers adjustable stitch widths up to 7mm and stitch lengths up to 5mm. Its Superior Plus Feed System uses a 7-piece feed dog for consistent fabric movement, supported by six levels of adjustable presser foot pressure. The built-in needle threader, easy-set bobbin system and automatic thread cutter simplify sewing preparation and finishing.
The machine includes a start/stop button for sewing without the foot control, an adjustable speed slider, needle up/down positioning and an auto-lock stitch function. A convertible free arm supports sewing sleeves and cuffs, while the drop feed function accommodates free-motion sewing. Its rigid die-cast aluminium internal frame provides stability, and white LED lighting illuminates the sewing area.
