The HyperX SoloCast 2 is a USB gaming condenser microphone designed to provide clear and focused voice capture for gaming communication, streaming, content creation and recording. Featuring a 14mm electret condenser capsule and a cardioid polar pattern, the microphone focuses on sound from the front while reducing unwanted pickup from the sides and rear. It supports high-resolution recording with 24-bit bit depth and sampling rates up to 96kHz, helping deliver detailed voice capture for compatible applications. The SoloCast 2 incorporates an internal shock mount and built-in pop filter to simplify the microphone setup without requiring separate accessories. Its compact design includes an adjustable tilt mechanism and integrated 3/8-inch and 5/8-inch mounting threads for compatibility with suitable microphone arms. The microphone uses plug-and-play USB-C connectivity and comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable. A convenient tap-to-mute control with LED indicator allows the microphone input to be muted quickly, while the LED provides a visual indication of the microphone status. Through HyperX NGENUITY software, users can customize audio using high-pass, low-pass and voice-enhancement filters, with settings saved between sessions.
