HyperX QuadCast 2 USB Gaming Condenser Microphone
The HyperX QuadCast 2 is a USB gaming condenser microphone designed for gaming, streaming, podcasting, voice recording and content creation, combining high-resolution audio capture with convenient on-board controls and customizable lighting. It features three 14mm electret condenser capsules and supports four selectable polar patterns including cardioid, omnidirectional, bidirectional and stereo, allowing the microphone to be configured for different recording and communication situations. The microphone supports 24-bit recording and sampling rates up to 96kHz for detailed digital audio capture, with a 20Hz–20kHz frequency response and -7.5dB sensitivity. The QuadCast 2 includes a convenient tap-to-mute sensor on the top of the microphone, while the integrated LED indicator provides a visual indication of the microphone status. A multifunction control knob provides on-board adjustment of microphone gain, playback volume and microphone monitoring volume, while also allowing users to switch between the available polar patterns. The microphone features a detachable vibration-dampening shock mount with spring-loaded pins, and its mounting joint supports 3/8-inch and 5/8-inch threading for compatible setups. A 3.5mm headphone output provides direct monitoring, while USB-C provides the primary connection to compatible devices. The QuadCast 2 also features customizable lighting and audio controls through HyperX NGENUITY software. The microphone is compatible with PC, Mac, PS5, Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck, making it suitable for gaming and content creation across multiple platforms.
